Spodumene is one of the main lithium-containing minerals. It is the main raw material for lithium chemicals and is widely used in the lithium chemical, glass, and ceramic industries. It enjoys the reputation of "industrial MSG". In recent years, as the price of lithium ore has been rising, the beneficiation of lithium-containing minerals has attracted more and more attention. So what are the steps for beneficiation of spodumene?

Step 1. Crushing-Screening: The raw spodumene ore is coarsely crushed through the jaw crusher, and screened by the 1# linear vibrating screen, so that the screened products are returned to the cone crusher for secondary crushing. And the cone crusher and the 1# linear vibrating screen form a closed-circuit crushing and screening process to completely crush the spodumene ore. After that, the products screened by the 1# linear vibrating screen are fed into the high-pressure roller mill and The roller mill screening closed-circuit process composed of 2# linear vibrating screen, the products screened by 2# linear vibrating screen enter the next step;

Step 2. Pulp making-classification; add water to the products under the 2# linear vibrating screen, stir and pulp, and pump them to the hydraulic classifier. After dehydration, the overflow part of the hydraulic classifier becomes a coarse mica product, while the underflow part Go to the next step;

Step 3: Screening - heavy medium mineral separation - magnetic separation; feed the underflow part of the hydraulic classifier into the 3# linear vibrating screen, and feed the products on the screen screened by the 3# linear vibrating screen into the cyclone to make the heavy medium swirl The bottom flow part of the device enters the magnetic separator for iron removal. The non-magnetic product is the spodumene rough concentrate, while the magnetic product enters the next step together with the overflow part of the heavy medium cyclone;

Step 4. Grinding and grading; feed the magnetic product and the overflow part of the heavy medium cyclone into the ball mill for grinding, and make the ball mill and 4# linear vibrating screen form a closed circuit process for grinding and grading, and make 4# linear vibration The products screened by the sieve and the products screened by the 3# linear vibrating screen enter the 1# hydrocyclone for classification;

Step 5: Gravity-classification: Gravity the underflow part of the 1# hydrocyclone through the spiral chute and shaking table to obtain tantalum and niobium concentrate, while the gravity separation tailings are fed to the 2# hydrocyclone for processing Classify again, so that the bottom part of the 2# hydrocyclone returns to the ball mill, and the overflow part of the 2# hydrocyclone enters the next step;

Step 6. Magnetic separation - desliming; combine the overflow parts of the 1# hydrocyclone and the 2# hydrocyclone and conduct magnetic separation through the magnetic separator, so that the non-magnetic products enter the 3# hydrocyclone for desliming. , the overflow part of the 3# cyclone enters the thickening pool together with the magnetic products for concentration, the tailings are dry discharged, and the underflow part of the 3# hydrocyclone enters the next step;

Step 7: Flotation-Concentration-Dehydration; flotation is carried out on the underflow part of the 3# hydrocyclone. The concentrate and tailings obtained by flotation are concentrated through a thickener respectively, and then filtered using a filter press. Spodumene concentrate and feldspar concentrate are obtained.
