1. Reselect
Gravity separation generally uses crushing, screening, jigging and other methods to obtain high-grade concentrate (grade up to 80%). The crushing part uses jaw crusher and secondary crushing process to crush barite. The screening part adopts circular vibrating screen, which has large processing capacity, high efficiency, simple and practical. It is an ideal equipment for screening barite. The jig selection process uses two jigs to screen the crushed coarse particles and fine particles respectively.
2. Magnetic separation
Magnetic separation generally uses a wet magnetic separator to select iron-containing minerals, such as siderite, and then uses barite to produce barium medicine with very low iron content requirements.
3. Flotation
Flotation is used to separate fine dispersed barite and tailings in gravity separation. Depending on the type of adsorption, anionic collectors such as fatty acid alkyl sulfates and alkane sulfonates or cationic amine collectors are used for pumice barite.
