Multi-stage Grinding and Multi-stage Flotation

To protect the graphite flakes from crushing, Xinhai uses multi-stage grinding flow. Through re-grinding and re-processing, the quality of concentrates is qualified. 

Gravity Separation - Flotation Combined Technology Flow

For graphite ores with heavy minerals, Xinhai graivty separation - flotation combined technology flow can be used. The heavy minerals are separated through gravity separation, and the tailings are dealed with flotation. 

Graphite Processing Equipment

Coarse crushing equipment for crystalline and amorphous graphite is common jaw crusher. The middling and fine crushing equipment is common cone crusher or hammer crusher. The grinding equipment uses wet ball mill and grid ball mill. The flotation equipment for graphite is common JJF flotation cell, XCF flotation cell and XJB flotation cell. The dewatering equipment of graphite is common hydrocyclone or belt filter. 

Flotation Reagent

In muti-stage flotation process, the common foaming agents are No.2 oil, No.4 oil, ether alcohol, rourke oil etc; The collectors are kerosene, diesel, heavy oil, sulfonate, sulfate, phenols, carboxylic acids etc.

Graphite mining processes are mainly applied in the various graphite ore with different types of crystalline and graphite ore accompanied with silicate minerals, such as mica and pyrite.

Vietnam 800tpd Graphite Ore Processing Plant

Leptite was the main ore type of graphite in Vietnam, followed by graphite schist, and the middle crystalline flake was the main graphite beneficial mineral. For qualified quality of concentrate, Xinhai technical staff made a comprehensive analysis of the raw ore property. Decided to add a scavenging and a concentration on the basis of the prior graphite mining process. That was totally nine times grinding, one roughing separation, one scavenging and nine concentrating.

Through the mineral processing test before beneficiation, Xinhai technical staff made the conclusion that the graphite has great washability, so that the commonly used flotation process of single flotation and multi-stage grinding with multi-stage concentrating was feasible in technology. This process also characterized by simple reagents system, advanced and reliable beneficiation index. The program finally received 14.2% productively, and its fixed carbon content was 92.30%, the recovery rate reached 87.91%, which created huge economical and society profits, and received high praise from the partners.
