Gold mining is a complex process, especially when dealing with extremely low gold ores. In order to effectively extract gold from the ore, the ore must first be crushed and ground, and then pre-enriched or separated by beneficiation methods. In the field of gold beneficiation, gravity separation and flotation are the two main technical means. Gravity separation plays an important role in placer gold production, while flotation separation is widely used in rock gold mines.

The development of beneficiation technology and facilities is synchronized. The technical level of the facilities directly affects the process level, which in turn has an important impact on the production process, product quantity, product quality and economic benefits. Crushing is a key step in mineral processing, including crushing, grinding, ultrafine grinding and ultrafine grinding. These links have high energy consumption, so the principle of the crushing process is to reduce grinding as much as possible and increase crushing.

The crushing process is divided into one-stage, two-stage and three-stage crushing, as well as the crushing process of ore washing operations. The one-stage crushing process is simple and suitable for feeding of non-media mills; the two-stage crushing is suitable for small factories; the three-stage crushing includes closed circuit and open circuit. Screening is the process of separating mixed materials of different particle sizes into different particle sizes and fineness levels through multi-layer or single-layer sieves. Grinding and classification uses the different settling speeds of mineral particles in the medium to classify mineral particles into different particle sizes. This process is crucial to improving the efficiency of the mill and improving the particle size composition of the grinding product.

Flotation, also known as froth flotation, is a method of mineral processing based on the difference in the surface properties of minerals. The floatability of a mineral is related to its affinity for water. Substances that are easily wetted by water are difficult to float, while minerals with low affinity for water tend to float on bubbles. The principle of flotation is to use the difference in the floatability of minerals to select minerals. The selection of flotation agents is crucial to changing the floatability of minerals to achieve effective separation of minerals.

In gold beneficiation, the flotation machine is an important device for flotation. After the slurry is fully aerated and stirred, useful minerals are enriched and the flotation operation is completed. In order to improve the efficiency of mineral processing, the mineral processing technology should be actively improved, such as flotation, gravity separation, heavy medium pre-selection, magnetic and electric separation and other combined mineral processing methods. At the same time, in the mineral processing facilities, it is necessary to ensure that the facilities can obtain high-quality sorting effects.
